International Conference on Social Science Methodology: A Special Reference to Social Movements

Policy Discourse on Contemporary Issues on Social Exclusion and Social Inclusion "PODCISESI", a collaborative programme of CNAS/TU and SIRF/ SNV Nepal, is organizing an International Conference on Social Science Research Methodology from November 15 to November 17, 2011 in Kathmandu. Objectives of the Conference

The overall objectives of this International Conference will be to discuss on the social movements methodology in general and share intercontinental social movement methodological traditions. The specific objectives of the seminar are:

Expected Outcomes

In addition to an academic discourse, the organizers will publish special issues of contributions to Nepalese studies, a leading academic journal of Nepal, or a book (edited) on social methodology based on the these papers. CNAS Social Inclusion Resource Centre will lead the discourses on these methodological experiences through SIRF regional Social Sciences Resource Centres to enhance the social exclusion and inclusion studies in Nepal.
